What if I fall…? But oh, my darling, what if you fly…?
So, recently I ran my first iMoveFreely Workshop…
It’s something that I had actually been putting off for sometime now…
I was scared.
It’s something that I’d never done before, I was unsure how it would turn out, and I had a little talk to do before the practical stuff…
Practical stuff = in my comfort zone
Talk = out of comfort zone!
But if I let my doubts and fears take over I figured I’d never get anywhere!
In order for us to move forwards in life we have to challenge ourselves and push the boundaries…
So by setting a date for the workshop and advertising it, I was committed. Even more so when I sold a few places! Eeek!
I was nervous about it for the week leading up to the workshop… I often think a few nerves every now and then are a good thing.
The workshop turned out really well, the ladies who came had really good results, and I have more ideas on how to make the next workshops even better!
It’s a great feeling afterwards, knowing that you’ve pushed your boundaries and really challenged yourself.
How often do you move out of your comfort zone?
It’s essential for personal growth, and to keep life moving forwards…
And ultimately as horse riders it’s not necessarily just about us is it? Our horses need challenging too, especially if we’re competing.
Competing in itself is often a huge challenge for those of us who suffer with nerves! And sometimes we just need to bite the bullet and go for it.
So what can you do that’s going to move you even closer to your goal?
Maybe you realise that you need to make a change with regards to your own fitness? But you don’t know where to start, and the thought of going to a gym fills you with dread?!
